Brake Adjustment

To adjust your brake for optimal performance, follow these steps:

Check if the disc brake is centered between the brake caliper and brake pad. If not, loosen the caliper bolts and wiggle the caliper loose, then hold down the brake lever. This will center the caliper over the disc with the help of the brake pads. Tighten the caliper bolts equally and evenly while holding down the brake lever. Repeat this step if necessary until the caliper is aligned correctly.

Turn the barrel adjuster on the brake caliper out a few turns to prevent overtightening of the brake cable. Loosen the lockring on the barrel adjuster, rotate the barrel adjuster away from the brake caliper body, and tighten the lockring.

Loosen the cable pinch bolt with a 5mm Allen wrench to allow the cable to move. Push the brake caliper arm up the brake cable gently while pulling the cable downward to make it taut. Tighten the cable pinch bolt to secure the brake cable.

Spin the wheel to check if it spins freely. If not, loosen the lockring and barrel adjuster counterclockwise a couple of turns and tighten the lockring to increase cable tension and prevent overtightening of the outer pad. Repeat this step until the wheel spins freely.

My husband and I love our Jasion bikes. They have been so much fun. We live on the beach and have been riding through the national seashores. It has been great fun!

Jasion & Customer Service

Did a lot of study with Jasion even comparing the company with others like Lectric and Evelo Bikes. Chose Jasion because of the bike qualities relative to their price point.
The sale marketing and online reviews were generally positive. We were pleased to find out that the e-bikes were of good quality and very satisfied with their styling, power and features.
The jury is still out on customer service (ongoing). We did not receive the bikes from FedEx due to delivery to the wrong address. Both Jasion and FedEx sent emails stating delivery and that physical signing was NEEDED. The bikes are an expense that NO ONE would like to lose. When we emailed both FedEx and Jasion, response was VERY slow. Our belief was the fault was with FedEx but obviously both were not in sync especially with us. FedEx also stated that there was ONE package when clearly Jasion sent two. Left/right hand coordination is a very common problem these days as more and more products are ordered online.
A small part was missing from one our our package. When we emailed a request to
either fulfill that part OR suggest what we can do to obtain it, there has been NO follow up on our request. With us ordering directly from Jasion and NO Jasion recommended service shop near our area, we can only imagine what it would be like if a significant part was needed by us. With the initial non communication and the lack of support we are a little disappointed because the bikes are working very well and seemingly is not matching Jasion customer service.

Bought a pair

Other than the shipping of the second bike (didn't come together) assembly was fairly easy, video helped me. We took them out for the 1st time and rode 5 miles. Was really enjoyable, smooth quick out of the gate and easy to control. So far so good. Looking forward to more riding.

Suggestion: A seat with springs.

We love these bikes!

These are out first Ebikes and we absolutely love them. We got them to take with us in our RV. The front and back suspensions make for a pretty dog gone good ride. We have taken a ride of about 15 miles and the seat does leave a little to be desired. It's kind of hard for my old rear end.
